Colin Powellcommon day General George B. McClellan?

There is speculation over who Colin Powell will endorse for the presidency.

Simply put, if Colin Powell were to endorse Barack Hussein Obama, he will in essence betray his Republican base, as well as, the millions of Americans that look up to him. He will betray his own Republican history. He will betray his own personal sacrifices. He will join the ranks of Generals like George B. McClellan, who harvested their careers for that defeatist moment. He will throw away a stellar career, that is second to none, in favor of a previous drug addict and possible homosexual.

Colin Powell, a man of great vision and character will do more harm to the men on the battle field than anything else. By endorsing a defeatist democratic candidate he will take an active hand in tearing down the military that he worked so hard for 35 years to better. History will be very unkind to Colin Powell if he trades in his honor and supports Barack Hussein Obama. Should he stay his own historical course, his name will be synonymous with the likes of Washington, Grant, Pershing, Eisenhower, Macarthur, Swartzkopf, Franks and Petraeus etc.The question is will he disavow all of his principles to support a black man that he otherwise shares very little in common with in the way of ethics and morality? Will he support a man he probably would not let into his home if he wasn't a serious presidential candidate?

Colin Powell stated that a positive attitude is a 'force multiplier!' The Obamas have used Negativity to get where they are. Colin Powell rose within the ranks of the military and government through hard work, attitude, and assimilation. He competed toe to toe with his white counterparts and beat them. He applied fully his principles of positive role model and lead by example behavior. He encouraged total force assimilation, while maintaining his identity as a black man.

There is not one person in the militaries today that would say anything unkind about Colin Powell. This will change dramatically if he endorses Barack Hussein Obama. The military unlike what the liberal media would lead you to believe is a bastion of Republicanism. Any increased poll activity suggesting otherwise, may be from increased enlistments from 'don't ask don't tell homosexuals' in a war time setting.

If Colin Powell were a presidential candidate, I would vote for him. I felt safe and was encouraged that he was in President Bush's cabinet. He adds balance and objectivity to world affairs, and military doctrine.

The CIA lied to him on WMD. Iraq was still justified.

He may have disliked Rumsfeld and Cheney, but that doesn't mean he has to throw the baby out with the bath water! Our country still needs his expertise and balance. Our country needs him to remain Republican and come full circle with his vision for Iraq and our military. John McCain is not George Bush. The United States of America needs Colin Powell's leadership and experience. Unlike Obama, Colin is a worthy role model for our black citizens and their children. He is a great role model for white citizens. He is indeed a great role model for all Americans! He has outlasted Rumsfeld. I am sure he will out last afirst term senator.

Colin please donot support a man that is not even close to being your equal! Please do not compromise the principles that you have adopted and applied over a life time of achievement! You have more to think about than yourself!
